![]() It's time for Baseball and Softball Season to start in Shelburn and the Shelburn Youth League is looking for Local businesses and/or individuals to sponsor a team or advertise with a banner in the outfield! You may pick up a Sponsorship Form at the Town Hall. Outfield Banner Sponsorship is $100 and the Youth League will display a 5ft by 3ft full color banner with your business name or logo on it. Banners will be displayed in the outfield all season long. Team Sponsorship is $300 which will be used to supply team shirts, socks and/or hats for your sponsored team. Your business name and/or logo will be printed on the team shirts as well as any fan shirts that's ordered. You'll also receive a 5ft by 3ft outfield banner as well. Notice is hereby given that the Town of Shelburn will receive sealed bids for their 2024 Mowing Season, located in the Town of Shelburn, Sullivan County, Indiana.
Sealed bids are invited and may be forwarded by mail, other courier service or in person to Town of Shelburn, Attn: Mowing Bids, 15 N. Railroad St. Shelburn, IN 47879 until 4:00pm on March 12, 2024. Bids received after such hour will be returned unopened. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud on March 12, 2024 at 6:00pm at the Shelburn Community Building where a vote to approve a bid will immediately follow. The contract will consist of mowing 23 properties, as well as spraying weed killer at select locations as needed during the entire 2024 season. A list of the properties can be found on our website at shelburn.in.gov or picked up at our Town Hall located at 15 N. Railroad St. Shelburn, IN 47879 Monday thru Friday 8am-4pm (closed for lunch from 12-1). Only requirements are that you must be a resident of the Town of Shelburn, be able to volunteer at Park sponsored functions, and be able to attend board meetings. Anyone interested needs to fill out an application and turn it into the Shelburn Town Hall or you can drop it in the drop box for the water bills. You can also email your application to [email protected] This park board position will be a four year term and your term will expire at the end of 2027. Applications and/or letters of intent need to be dropped off at the Water Office no later than 4:00pm on Tuesday February 13, 2024. CLICK HERE to download the application. In addition to their annual events on the calendar for the 2024 agenda is also the Shelburn Ball Diamond Improvement Project as well as other grant opportunities to make improvements and updates to the Town Park and Dawson’s Pond. |
